Good morning. The cold air is back. Many regions are under cold wave advisories this morning. The northern regions of Gyeonggi-do and Gangwon-do provinces are shivering cold so dress extra warmly.
Thankfully, we have clean air. This is due to the freezing air that moved in overnight. It blew the dust away so despite the cold let's take advantage of the fresh air. Meanwhile, dry weather alerts remain in place for parts of Gangwon-do Province.
Daily highs will be 7 to 8 degrees lower this afternoon. Wednesday's mid-teen afternoon highs will drop down to the single digits. Seoul topping out at 3 degrees Celsius, Busan at 9 degrees. But there will be plenty of sunshine across the country.
Morning lows will remain below freezing through Sunday, central regions will see frequent rainfall for the next 5 days while there shouldn't be any major cold snap.
That's Korea for you and here's the international weather for viewers around the world.
