Good morning. Most parts of Korea are under a haze of toxic smog. The air quality will get worse as the day goes on The capital region is likely to have very bad air quality so have a face mask with you.
According to the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other experts, on a dusty day like today, we still need to open the windows to ventilate rooms but limit this to 10 minutes, 3 times a day between 10 AM and 6 PM and use a wet mop to clean the floor.
Temperature-wise, readings are on the mild side today, hovering way above the norms for this time of year so we won't need a thick jacket but we have freezing morning lows in store for the latter half of the week.
This afternoon, daily highs will range from 7 to 18 degrees Celsius. Another band of spotty rain will move in tonight for Seoul and its surrounding regions.
