Yes, let's find out more details from our Natalie Seok at the Weather Center.
Yes It did. And a lot of ice was seen around Cheonggye-cheon stream for the first time this winter. And we expect more icy conditions on the roads and pavements during the weekend, as rain or snow is in the forecast for the capital tomorrow. So, do be careful when getting around in these conditions.
Taking a closer look at our readings
Seoul will kick off the day at minus 3 degrees Celsius, Chuncheon minus 8, and Jeju 6 degrees.
And the daytime highs will be much warmer than today
as the mercury will climb to 6 degrees in Seoul, 8 in Gyeongju and 10 in Busan and Jeju.
So, as temperatures warm up during the day, the snow may fall as rain in the snowy areas.
Now, tomorrow is Daeseol, meaning 'big snow', on the traditional Korean calendar, which marks the transition into mid-winter.
It'll start to snow early tomorrow morning in Gyeonggi-do Province, then expand to the capital and Chungcheongbuk-do Province.
Otherwise, we have more fine weather over the weekend, although lows will stay below zero.
So, don't forget to bundle up even if it looks sunny outside.
I'll leave you with the weather conditions around the world.
