Good afternoon. Many parts of the country had the coldest morning temperatures of the season so far with cold wave advisories. But this cold front shouldn't last too long.
Readings will jump once the sun is full up in the sky and highs will rise above the freezing mark this afternoon. Despite the cold, suny skies will dominate all day.
However, the air is getting drier. Dry weather alerts are in place in many regions, including here in Seoul. Apply moisturizer and drink plenty of water.
The cold snap will ease on Saturday and fairly bearable temperatures are on tap for the weekend. Tomorrow is Daeseol, meaning "big snow"according to traditional calendar, but central regions will only see mix of light rain and snow.
Next week, temperatures will be around or even above the seasonal norms so don't worry, this cold snap shouldn't be around for long.
That's Korea for you and here's the international weather for viewers around the world.
